Position: Business Analyst / QA specialist

Job Functions

 ·         Collaborate with customers to Gather, document and analyze requirements for large complex Software Systems. Utilize UML and/or other methodologies to conduct requirements analysis.

·         Work with the customer and development teams to seek requirements clarifications, document design and conduct requirements/design review meetings.

·         Develop detailed test plans based on the requirements and document Traceability matrices.

·         Perform functional, non-functional (load/performance testing) and regression testing.  Analyze/Document test results and provide management reports on test coverage.

·         Work with the customer and management on User Acceptance Testing to validate business requirements and resolve issue.

·         Work with the project teams to develop and document release and deployment plans.

·         Provide Operations and maintenance Support including logging/tracking defects, testing and debugging production issues and assisting the project teams with deployment activities.

Minimum Requirements

·         Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics or related field preferred 

·         Experience working with full Software development life cycle

·         Experience working with relational databases is preferred.

·         Experience with UML, Object oriented concepts

·         Knowledge of emerging and current technologies including Cloud/SOA/Web services; process knowledge in the areas of CMMI and ITIL is preferred

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will meet the following requirements: 

• 6 to 8 years of overall experience with 2 to 3 years in a customer facing Business/System analyst /QA role.
• Experience with requirements management tools, requirements best practices, analysis tools (including UML).
• Experience with testing in various environments including ASP.NET, JAVA/J2EE environments.

• Experience with system integration testing, load/performance/stress testing and automated testing tools (WinRunner, LoadRunner etc).
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Subversion and other document management tools such as Share Point.
• Testing experience with Web services and User Interfaces
• Excellent oral, written and communication skills to collaborate with various internal and external teams; ability to communicate requirements and design across teams
